The Russian Realistic Art Institute (RRAI) is a private construction project, reviving public traditions of the national patronage of arts.

Museum and exhibition complex of the RRAI was opened in December, 2011.It is placed in one of the old buildings of the former cotton-printing factory, built in Zamoskvorechie at the end of the XIX century. Nowadays the art collection of the RRAI is considered to be one of the best printings collection of the national realistic art school of the ХХ century. Three floors of the exhibition space with the total area of more than 4500 sq.m. shows to the audience the exposition of almost 500 paintings of Russian and Soviet art.
